Bridges and crowns on implants
Four months after implant placement with a new X-ray image that we do in our office, what follows is:
- one appointment for opening the implant (placing an abutment on the implant) and taking an impression
Ceramic or zirconium crowns or bridges (bridges or crowns without metal):
- one appointment for opening the implant and taking an impression
- one appointment for the finished bridge or crown
(If you are coming from afar, we recommend a stay of 2 days to complete the whole procedure)
Metal ceramic crowns or bridges:
- one appointment for trying on the bridge or crown metal on implants
- one appointment for completing the work on ceramics
(If you are coming from afar, we recommend a stay of 3 days to complete the whole procedure)
For major prosthetic devices covering the entire dental arch, we advise you to extend your stay for one more day so that we can monitor the bite (just in case).
The time for making bridges and crowns on natural teeth is the same, only there is no 4 months waiting for the implant to heal, but sometimes an additional appointment is required for potential treatment of the teeth that will be included in the procedure.
Combined devices (one fixed part, i.e. cemented bridge with clasps, one removable part, i.e. skeletal dentures with clasps)
- one appointment for dental treatment and taking impressions for the first time required to fabricate the fixed part with clasps
- one appointment for trying on the metal of the fixed part
- one appointment for finished ceramics and taking an impression for fabricating removable denture
(If you are coming from afar, we recommend a stay of 3 – 4 days to complete the whole procedure)
After 7-10 days:
- one appointment for taking a bite print for fabricating a removable skeletal denture
- one appointment to test the placement
- one appointment to finish the procedure, i.e. to place the fixed and removable dentures, i.e. the complete device

Total dentures on implants
Four months after implant placement, the appointments below follow:
- one appointment for opening the implant, placing abutments and taking an impression for the first time
After 7-10 days or more:
- one appointment for taking a bite print
- one appointment to test the placement
- one appointment to place the finished dentures

Ceramic veneers, in-lay, on-lay
If the tooth has healed well:
- one appointment for grinding and taking an impression
